Stratford 2 cue, 4 butt case
The case I have is a bit of a "strange duck", in that on the outside, it looks like the Stratford S-255 (which is a 2x2) case, but on the inside, it is the S-260 case (which is a 2x4.)

Notice how the top exterior pocket has a space between it and the longer horizontally-zippered pouch (this is where the adjustable handle is supposed to go.) I'm unable to find out what model my Stratford case is, but it doesn't really matter that much to me, as long as it works!

McDermott 2 cue, 4 butt case

New, January 4, 2009: I picked up a used McDermott 2x4 embroidered case on eBay, for a grand total of $40.99. Not a bad deal, since they typically go for around $100, and the McDermott cases are discontinued. Seeing as I have two McDermott cues, I might use this one instead, or perhaps give it to my son. Either way, not a bad deal. ;) It's not the leather case I want, but it'll do until I decide to spend the $300 - $400 on a nice InStroke or JB Cases custom case.

Update, 2/13/2009: I've been informed by McDermott that this is actually a Joe Porper case, which they (McDermott) haven't sold in several years. This one is very similar to the 2x4 Oval Signature Cue Case (124S) Porper sells, which costs $117 (plus s/h.) I've contacted Porper about the missing plastic insert in the lid of the case, and been informed they can send me a replacement piece for $4.00. :) All in all, I think I got a very good deal for this case, and I've decided to let me son use it (I just like the Stratford case I have, and until I get a nice leather case, I'll continue to use that one.)
