The I-Shafts system from McDermott offers 3 shaft options for different playing conditions. The quickest way to powerful accurate shots has arrived! The McDermott Intimidator I-Series Shaft System gives players the freedom to change power and spin-rate to maximize the speed and accuracy of shots in a way never before possible. The Intimidator I-Series shafts are a tour-quality, low deflection, radially consistent shaft system that delivers the power you want, the control you need, and the feel you've missed, all in a 100% consistent manner.

The I-Shafts joint options will fit 60 major cue brands.

The McDermott I-Shafts have an MSRP of $249 to $309 (depending on what joint and collar combination, with the base shaft with black collar being the cheapest), and an additional $30 to $50 (or more) for custom or matching ring work to match a particular cue (for example, see the prices for different options at seyberts.com.) You can usually find it the I-shafts for around $199, since most authorized retailers offer the standard 20% discount that McDermott allows them to offer.

I found it for $180 shipped from billiards.com (as well as shootersbilliards.com), with free shipping. Then I found it for sale at billiards911.com for $199.20, however they (billiards911.com, aka beadsandbilliards.com) have a price match guarantee, which states they will price match any major competitor for the same item. Billiards911.com only charged me $30 to match the ring work to my McDermott Elite-series M2-9A "Knight" cue, AND I had a 10% discount coupon for them (major reason why I wanted to order from them!), which they let me use in addition to the price match! :) My final price ended up being:

$180 (price match price) + $30 (matching ring work) = $210 - $21 (10% coupon) = $189 with free shipping & handling.

That's one heck of a deal, in my opinion, and I simply couldn't pass it up, especially since I wanted a low-deflection shaft, and McDermott's Lifetime Warranty and Maintenance are included.
